As the title states, today my steering wheel buttons for the radio stopped working altogether. The brake paddle still works, but the FAV buttons do not, nor do any of the arrows, the checkmark, or the call answer or hang up buttons. Anyone have any advice as far as a possible blown fuse or anything easy to fix might be to avoid a dealership visit?

Thanks in advance,
MC4M

Thanks all, the infotainment reboot did not help, but a simple parking of the car and leaving it off for some time then turning it on again fixed the problem for me (for now)!
I buy a new car every 3 years. Have never owned a used car (GJUODINK) but I have to say that I've had more software glitches with the Bolt and weird things that kind of go away on their own. The only thing that hasn't gone away on it's own is being able to go into R from D without hitting the side button. Still working on that. I've had more gremlins with the Bolt than any of the past ones put together. And in fairness, only one is annoying ... backup camera guide lines late to the party or never showing up problem.

Yup. Our 2017 has done this twice in 29K miles. As you said, infotainment reboot did nothing. Powering off and walking away fixed it.

These things shouldn't trouble you unless they either recur or interfere with operation. In 36K miles, I have had several software glitches that required turning off the car and waiting several minutes for stuff to reset: blank center bank screen, no steering wheel controls, conditions not (something) to shift. None have recurred in the year or so that followed. Being unable to shift was REALLY bad. I also have a 2016 Cadillac ELR with ~26k miles too, and it has had only a couple of weird software glitches in nearly 4 years, but nothing that required repair.

I had the steering wheel switches cut out when I powered the car up for the ride home. I tried the radio reset a couple of times, but to no avail, so I figured the clock spring went. I noticed the LKA light was on, so I hit the CC switch and it worked. Now, I'm thinking that it may not be the clock spring.

When I got home, I was going to disconnect the 12V battery to do a reset, but I decided to do a search on this website first and saw this thread. I went back out to the car, powered it up and sure enough, the switches were back. Go figure.
