Okay, thanks! Didn’t realize that there was an editorial rule about topics that are “non-Bolt-specific”, especially given other recent posts like the following that didn’t get moved but are clearly non-Bolt-specific:See the other thread, in the "non-Bolt-specific" area : https://www.chevybolt.org/forum/145-ev-lounge/31941-35-000-model-3-here.html
I agree, my bad! I just didn’t know that I should have looked in a different forum to find such a topic. I just didn’t think to look elsewhere. My impression is that the General forum was just that: a place to post anything related to EVs, including but not exclusive to the Bolt. This has been my experience all along, and that is why I cited examples of non-Bolt-related topics. It was when my posting inexplicably “disappeared” (actually was moved to the on-topic thread that you point out without anyone letting me know that this had happened) that I was clued into what I am calling the “editorial rule” not to post non-Bolt-specific topics in General. I know better now. I just wish the “rule” wasn’t so arbitrarily enforced. ?I don't know if there's "an editorial rule" or not, I simply pointed to another existing thread (started about 5 hours before this one, with multiple pages of posts) so that there would (hopefully) be just one thread on the topic.
You and me both. At least the thread isn't about consumerism and/or communism. (You think I jest - no, both have happened.)I just wish the “rule” wasn’t so arbitrarily enforced.
