If this is for real it would be awesome because it would mean hydrogen infrastructure.
This is great satire. I was in a paragraph or two before realized what was up. Model H and Model 0, also called the Old-ster. It really captures the zaniness of Elon.

There is a lot of interest in creating hydrogen from water. The current problem is that the energy needed and rare metals needed to do it far exceed any ability. The way we get hydrogen now is by using oil.

One would need an almost indestructible catalyst in order to get hydrogen created. It is also not a very safe product to transport and store.

There have been and still are companies that have been trying to convert different fuels into something that a fuel cell can use. Again long term is the issue.

Its been reported that stan Meyer developed and drove his water car around displaying it. He died under mysterious circumstances. I know somone working on this.
But if it’s all true why isn’t some MFG going it?

wonder if anyone here has bought that Toyota car. Not same as as water car that makes its own hydrogen.

Tesla should be working with hydrogen. Discounting it for long haul trucking, which they very much want to be apart of, is absolutely a mistake.

Personal transportation may not need hydrogen but society does. Demonizing and joking about it doesn't change the fact that it's easily the best solution for the majority of industry burning fossil fuels where battery technology can't come in and do the job as well or even at all.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water on this. Toyota could be self-serving and hydrogen a red herring for replacing a Corolla but that doesn't mean it's not the right solution for the 18-wheeler or Airbus flying overhead.
