dead pedal cover if you don't have all weather mats that cover it.What else should a new owner of a Bolt get?
There's been a few reports of the fuse going bad and stranding a few Bolts. There actually was a recall on this for some Bolts where they replaced the whole manual service disconnect (MSD). The fuse is inside the MSD (that's under the rear seat). I figured it was small and cheap enough to just get one. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try to replace theirs unless they knew what they were doing. There's even a requirement to don PPE.That's the main fuse under the rear seat, correct? If something causes that fuse to blow, should I replace that fuse without having everything else checked out? I'm fine with replacing 12V fuses, but I'm not sure about the high voltage one.
I'm shocked.Yeah, that's the kind of mistake you only get to make once.![]()
I bought an auto twist that collapses at Walmart that fits between the seat and the console. Not completely the greatest fit on the windshield, but only cost $9 in 2017. Looks like $13 now. Folds up to about a foot in diameter. Is there a sun shade for the Bolt that twist collapses and fits into the door compartment?
I observed my wife tug with both hands to release the latch holding the sun visor. Was afraid that this could lead to the plastic breaking at some point in the future. So I stopped snapping the passenger sun visor into the latch in the stowed position. It was then, that I realized that the sunshade was supported better if I angled the visor down. Now I don't latch the driver's side either so I can quickly put up the sunshade and angle the visors down to support it.It's smaller, and they're barely held in place by the sun visors (just flipping down).
