No surprises, fit great! Easy install but dang, they are proud of them. Anyway, in SoCal, I'll be able to find mine in the grocery parking lot without hitting the panic button!

Together (tint/brakes) $505 It is what it is!

LOL! Why would you put those China caliper covers on your car ?

Sorry, but they look terrible, IMO!

The front door tint is dark enough to get you pulled over. Good luck!

Why would you call them "China caliper covers"?

I disagree with your opinion, on the covers.

I do agree that the front window's dark tint is asking to get pulled over by a cop a bit short on his/her ticket quota for the day. Being that dark would never fly in my neck of the woods.

However, I do think this Bolt looks sharp with these mods.

Good for you! I don't care if you approve of my opinion.

Agreed G'Brew! Powder coat was flawless and the stamped aluminum was a high quality; nice and stiff. Definitely better aluminum than we used on our old helicopter. 7.62 rounds tended to pass right-on through . . . and surely would these caliper covers too! : / Very happy with their service; no surprises!

I don't know that I'd travel in the Bolt sitting on my helmet, though!

The only thing I can think looking at that pic is how terrible the Premier wheels look (I have them also). IMO the base model's solid matte grey is so much better.

So where’d you find the ones with the Bolt graphic? Hopefully you didn’t have to fly all the way to China! :)

FWIW, illegal tint always bugs the **** out of me. There are many situations (e.g., you're coming out of a side turn) where I as another driver want to be able to see you. You're basically saying “screw you” to me.

Hey V'formed, back away from the edge brother. It's OK! You know what bugs the @@@@ out of me? People that think they should be able to dictate how I live my life. Life, Liberty, Pursuit of Happiness! All on the chopping block. What else would you like me to give up?

FWIW!

This is exactly the entitled attitude I expected — “Other people? Screw them. I got mine!”.

You think you're special; the laws that the rest of us obey shouldn't apply to you. No doubt you drive 50 mph down 35 mph residential streets and drove in the carpool lane with just you in the car before you had an EV with carpool stickers. Maybe you drive drunk, too. After all, who is to tell you what you can and can't do.

It's a safety issue for others on the road as well. Many drivers often look *through* the other vehicles around them to see what's on the other side of said vehicle. Illegally dark tint blocks that ability.

Libertarian ideals are fine if they don't impact the health and well-being of others around you. The tint laws are there for a reason.

I am MUCH more concerned with all the idiots I see paying more attention to their phones than the handful of people who tint their windshield. Notice how traffic accidents are trending upward? It’s not because of window tint, it’s because of phones.

That is certainly a huge issue too, but it's part of the same entitled “it's against the law but the law doesn't apply to me” mindset.
