Thanks for sharing the video...very cool.

So you went 26 miles on 8 miles of GOM range, meaning you were driving much more slowly on the mountain than you were averaging on the highway, of course. You used 9.3 kWh going up, and recouped 4.6 kWh going back down, so regen was 49.5% efficient. Not great, but better than burning out brakes for no gain. You used 4.7 kWh total to go 26.3 miles, for 5.6 mi/kWh. This just shows how incredibly efficient EV drivetrains are. At low speeds, even going up and down mountains, you get terrific efficiency. The lesson here is that speed kills range. This is why all cars should be designed for aero efficiency instead of ego projection.
