Trunk release switch not working, how to open trunk from inside the car so I can replace the switch?

The trunk release button on my 2023 Bolt EUV stopped working 2 days ago, feels like the button is stuck in the depressed position. I went to remove the button assembly to fix/replace it and realized I have to open the trunk to do so. Is there a manual trunk release mechanism somewhere inside the rear hatch so I can open it and get to work?
Still under warranty I assume. Take it to the dealer.

At least you were not stuck in the car. Saw online a lady trapped in Tesla because doors locked automatically when the third battery dies. She had to call Tesla and finally figured how to push the door handle from the inside.

Actually I just figured it out. For anyone else who ends up in the situation, at the bottom of the hatch there is a little square cap. Remove the cap. Inside there is a square slot that you can insert a tool into. I used a large flathead screwdriver. Twist counterclockwise and the hatch will open.

Only problem is if you are drowning and need to find a tool. GM should have simply put in a lever of some sort to make it easier for emergencies.
