I was half posting this to see what people thought of the cutoff at the a-pillar. I like mine better from a "this is how this kind of thing should be done" standpoint but without the a-pillar ending like the Kona does it can look maybe, off, if you actually notice it. You noticed it.

Here's your idea, which works but I think makes less of a statement overall. Maybe I could black out the roof rails where they're chrome and then wrap the parts that are currently black in the Redline red.

Adding the accents to the roof rails would be very reminiscent of the Subaru Forester:

Is there a panel line there on the EUV? If so I take back what I said. If there's a panel line it's the right spot to end the black.

I don't know that I like it as much with the red accents now that I see it in the configurator.

I like the bottom one paint job, I have summit white premier. I don’t necessarily like the premier’s wheels, but I am not sure I would like those redline wheels until I see them in person.

I am looking at light weight forged aftermarket matte black for when the first set of tires wear out.

But I think the redline are probably better looking than the premier wheels. The gloss black with shiny highlights has been totally over-done by every one at this point.

Also black roof gets interior super hot in the sun on hot days. Don’t need heat added in the sun belt 😀

Overdone or becoming accepted as an alternative to chrome/brushed? I'm not quite sure. Could be paisley wall paper equivalent in 10 years, time will tell.

Bring back the hippie VW bus with smoke pouring out 🤪

Out of curiosity, how much do they charge for the redline package? Does it have premier package plus for redline?

$500. If it was more I wouldn't have done it but at that price I'm actually pretty confident it'll recoup that cost even 5-10 years down the line. Colors do have a pretty big impact on resale.

I would get the redline package just for the wheels without needing the launch edition. But I would remove those red accents personally.
I think the wheels, it's painted on so you'd have to re-powdercoat the wheels, right? Not worth.

The mirrors should be easy enough.

I thought they were stickers or vinyl, like some of the aftermarket wheels I've seen with red trim. But I can be wrong.
Then it's for sure coming off. Why they thought this looked good is beyond me. Must save money over painted brake calipers and lips.

Badging looks sweet still though:

I like the black roof and black wheel inserts idea. Not sure about the black A pillar. It doesn't finish as well near the fender and hood as the Kona. I have a ghost grey with black wheel inserts from the factory. I'm seriously thinking about wrapping the roof. As least the part that's not panoramic glass.
