I just made a video of the Torklift Ecohitch install on my 2017 Bolt.
We did it slightly differently after seeing a tip from a user on a different forum.
We left a 1.5" strip of the bumper fascia intact, essentially cutting a hole into the fascia instead of cutting all the way through it.
Another great install video is the one etrailer put out.

Thank you for posting that video, @pfrost! Your video along with the eTrailer and Torklift videos really helped A LOT! I have a 2017 Bolt. My brother-in-law and I spent most of the morning attaching the hitch and assembling and installing the rack. What I thought was the easiest part turned out to be the hardest. The top right stud did not clear the hole on the hitch very cleanly. It would get caught on the threads halfway on the stud. We ended up drilling a notch to provide more clearance. We opted for the window cut and the hitch slipped through perfectly. I got the Hollywood Sport Rider SE 4 and she is solid in that hitch. Thanks again!

There is another thread somewhere on this forum where someone was planning to replace their bumper before returning their leased car, for this reason. You may want to ask them how that came out.

Thanks @pfrost! Just did this tonight with my 9 year old going over your video. He loved following your video and telling me what we needed to do next. A lot of fun, now I can share the same bike rack with my enclave! Only broke 3 clips 😢
Hope my bumper doesn't fall off! Lol 😜
