Put a deposit on 2023 Bolt EUV on Sep 27. Can anybody give me an idea of how long they waited to find out their build date?

I actually ordered mine on 9/28, the order was accepted on 10/7, target production was 10/31, it was produced on 11/1, shipped on 11/15, and is now scheduled to arrive on 12/13.

There are a lot of factors that will contribute to how long it takes to get one, especially if you ordered one custom… Dealer allocation is probably one of the biggest factors. I’ve seen a lot of people comment that they place an order and wait months to get the order accepted by GM, while for others that’s only a matter of days. In fact, when I was initially shopping, I went to a local dealer who told me that they can’t even get any allocation because they hadn’t opted in for the Bolts when they first came out. Now that they’re asking (late to the game) they’re low on the priority list as production is moving to dealers with a track record of moving the inventory. Another factor could depend on the options you want on it. If there are any specific parts required that are delayed or on backorder, that can have an impact as well.

My repurchase was approved and I ordered my EUV on Sept 22. On Oct 27, the repurchase coordinator said my car was scheduled to be produced the week of Dec 5.

People in this forum keep saying there is a chatbot that can tell you the status of an order, so this week I tried to do that. I ended up texting with humans, not bots. They said my order is not yet accepted. There are so few people at GM who know anything at all, I have no idea how to interpret any of it.

Orion is so close, it seems weird to think they would put my car on a train. But delivery logistics is often pretty weird, so who knows?

I think the only thing certain, will be when I actually get the car. I will let folks here know, if/when that ever happens.

Orion Assy has no rail service, so if you are indeed close enough, it will be trucked to your dealer.

Chevy dot com to get a bot easier just do it off hours.

I reached out to my repurchase coordinator and he says my scheduled production date is now 1/16/2023.

The car I ordered is a Premier, with SuperCruise, and it’s red. Those are three strikes against its production, I suppose.

The winter range reduction is already in full swing. I had hoped to avoid a second whole winter under the double whammy of recall and winter, but maybe I should switch to hoping to avoid a third such winter, sigh.

My dealer is a bit more than an hour away from Orion Assembly.
