WEBASTO EVSE – led lights, what do they mean ?

I cannot get my charger to work. This is the unit that came with my 2023 EUV
We put in a 40 amp breaker & plugged in the NEMA 14-50 connection.
We are 3 lights: red, blue & orange
At times, it shows 1 blue
What does this mean ?

My car shows: unable to charge.
But when we run it thru the 110, it works.

The main problem is that this is not the standard unit sold by webasto.

According to the Bolt EUV 2022 manual, a separate instruction manual should have arrived with the included EVSE. At least in my case, it did not. My google-fu has also failed at locating a PDF of said manual. I recently had a 50 amp line installed for free thanks to Chevy, and so have just...

I would double check the wiring on the 240V outlet first. There have been number of cases on here where a "professional" has wired up the outlet incorrectly.

Using a multimeter set to AC-VOLTS, measure between either HOT and GROUND. You should get ~120V. Measure between either HOT and NEUTRAL and you should also get ~120V. Measure between HOT and HOT and you should get ~240V.

It turns out that blue light is good.
We got it to work.
