General Motors unveiled the Chevy Bolt at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. This all-electric vehicle is meant to rival the upcoming Tesla Model III sedan. We don't know a ton about the Bolt and what it will become in its production form, but we do know some things. Here is a list of every thing we know about the 2015 Chevy Bolt.

- The production version of the Bolt may be called the Crossvolt. This conclusion is based upon a trademark filing for the name on December 23rd of 2014.

- The range is estimated at 200 miles, and engineers took extra care to fit as many batteries in the floor of the vehicle as possible. This will serve to maximize range and interior cabin space for passengers.

- The Chevy Bolt is rumored to have a price of $30,000. That price is after government incentives are accounted for. Mary Barra stated at the Bolt's debut, "the Bolt EV concept is a game-changing electric vehicle designed for attainability, not exclusivity. Chevrolet believes electrification is a pillar of future transportation and needs to be affordable for a wider segment of customers."

- Some things probably won't make production. Examples of this are the mirrors and the wrap around LED taillights. Generally, the production version should look aesthetically pretty similar to the concept though.

- The Chevy Bolt will go on sale throughout the US in the future. That means all of the US, not just green states like California.

When you say it is going to be the Sonic, do you mean that it will be basically the same car with a few minor adjustments to the looks to make it a Bolt instead?Looking at Sonic pictures I can tell that it is the same shape as the Bolt, but I figured that the Bolt would look quite a bit different given the look of the concept.
