An old useless throwback from early navigation, before the digital age.
Like having a 4 track tape player laying around, Still useless!

Owning a BEV with all the tech and it having a map pocket, is just crazy!!!

Next you'll be saying with heated steering wheel, we no longer need a glovebox...

I’ve got barf bags in mine. My daughter gets carsick very easily.
Oh man. I remember those days. We used to keep a box of gallon ziplock bags under the passenger seat in the minivan for that reason. It was a great moment when we realized we didn’t need them anymore. Hold strong. It will happen someday.
What is the brand/model of the sunshade you use? I'd like to replace the rollup I use.
I bought these for my 2020 Bolt and they work fine for my 2022 Bolt EUV. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000G72UOQ

There are probably better ones, but these were already paid for and they block the entire windshield. Paired with the ceramic tint I am always impressed by how not scorching it is in the car.

No! Soon you won't have a steering wheel, so no use for gloves either :ROFLMAO:
I think the glove box will be deleted and moved to another location, as it
too will be aged out as a defunct item. Kinda like us

I'll have to see if I have this.

8 tracks? Wow! Thats 4 times stereo.

"I am iron man. du du dududu."
I had a 4 track track in my 69 SS Nova  That's why I said that in my original post.
It became useless when the 8 tracks came out. o_O We put an 8 track in the 68 Road Runner and one in the 69 GTX!

Yeah! The ceramic tint is great stuff, IMO!
Can’t get away with that everywhere. I have a friend who gets pulled over all the time for her tint. They always let he go after she hands them her driver’s license and her badge.

Behind passenger's seat, there's a pocket for the rear passenger.

Driver's seat has none.

Can't be saving GM thaaat much money.
I read once that the material costs for building a given model car are figured down to the fraction of a cent. That would certainly account for a pocket on just one seat, and for the mind numbing decision regarding the brake and turn signal lights starting on the 2022 models.

I actually use the map pocket in my EUV to hold maps. I have a big Rand McNally road atlas for the US and Canada and various other county maps. I didn't spring for the navigation system, so it comes in handy when I visit relatives in the ass end of nowhere and my cheapo MVNO cell service doesn't work for Android Auto.

I use both of them on my prius. Sunscreen, plastic bags, kids sunglasses, wires for kids devices. I perfer 2. But it's minor.

I'm noticing not all cars that I am shopping for now have the 2nd pocket or even a sunglasses holder. Annoying
