Will the 2022 Chevy Bolt EV seats be a drop-in replacement for the 2020 and 2021 models?

The seats on the 2022 Bolt EV are supposed to be wider and more comfortable.
Does anyone know if they will be backwards compatable with the 2021 and 2020 models?
The 2021 seats are too narrow and uncomfortable for me.

Thanks

From reviews I've seen so far, the claims of improved seats for the 2022 have been greatly exaggerated. 😛
I'm in this boat as well - I've taken about half-a-dozen 8 hour trips and haven't found the seats to be problematic. I'm 6ft 250 lbs (not small). When I initially looked at purchasing this car. this seat thing is what worried me the most.
I'm 6'3 and about 220 lbs. While the seats are a little stiffer (also, brand new so haven't been softened by use) than what I'm used to I don't have a problem with them.

I suppose if your used something like the Cadillac couch cushions or something then the seats would appear uncomfortable. However since my most recent vehicle was a Prius they're not really that much different.
A) I hope the 2022 seats are wider and more comfortable.
They aren't. Or rather, so far reviewers who have managed some drive time with them have said the seats aren't all that different from the 2021.

B) I hope they can be mounted in the 2021 model.
I wouldn't hold your breath on that.
