Morning was fine. I got to work no problem.
I got back in the car in the afternoon and I see this little orange icon.

No chime, no sound, no pop up screen about a problem. Just a small icon of the car with the exclamation mark.
The app sent a notification to schedule an appointment due to Litium-Ion Battery error.
Torque read errors P1E00 (current, set) and P0AA1 (pending).

Car drove OK. No problems whatsoever.

Got home, picked up the kid, drop her off at her work, and I decided to stop by at my local dealer. Of course the wash about having the car for many hours to find out what is going on... and not today (Monday), but on Thursday. OK then, I will go now.
I was advised to check if it accepts charge - a quick check with 50 kW DCFC - all good.
Went home and... the light is gone.

Now, what is left: P1E00.

Battery was replaced under the recall in Jan 2022. It takes about nominal charge. Car drives fine.
I still need one patch of the software and seat belt pretensioner recalls.

2019 with 35k miles.

I guess I am going to keep driving until I find a better moment to drop it off.

Any other ideas?

DTC P0AA1 Hybrid/EV Battery Positive Contactor Circuit Stuck Closed

Your new battery pack contactor took a split second too long to open, or close.

DTC P1E00 Hybrid/EV Powertrain Control Module 2 Requested MIL Illumination

The system requested the DIC generic Service Car light to come on.

I assume you got the codes of Torque Pro? I would clear them, and hope they don't come back. No big deal, most likely.

Yup, Torque Pro.
I looked them up so I kind of knew what is going on, but the car did not confirm the codes with its behaviour
The contactor opened and closed as expected. So I guess I am fine.

I am not clearing the codes yet. Although, the P0AA1 is gone. It was only pending and after a few cycles it disappeared.

thanks for the info.

I got that amber light with an exclamation point. Manual says "go to dealer soon", so being amber and not red means "keep driving". It cleared with the 10mm reset. I also got 2 separate notifications on the My Chevy app indicating "Li-Ion Battery Problem", but cleared on its own. My battery is original and new style.

I also received a recall for the seat belt pre-tensioner and got an appointment with the dealer last week. They told me that my VIN was also due for a software update, which they applied. It seems that update is to reduce the unnecessary Li-Ion battery warnings.

I have had no further warnings or fault lights since. Maybe the first step should be to get those updates done at the dealer.

Updates could fix unnecessary errors... it just this dealer gives me so much headache. Everything is taking soooo loooonnnggg and is sooooo complicated.
How is the update? 30 minutes? Or two days?

I really like our little local Chevy dealer. Even though their allocations are really low, so they haven't replaced a battery yet. But the service, and parts departments, are also small, and I get fast service from them. I have had several software updates done by them. I set up an appointment. They come out and pull in the car at the time scheduled, and a half hour later the car is back outside. I watch through the service window, and the tech comes out and tells me about what he did, and how it went. Can't ask for more.

In my case, I had a 10AM appointment and picked up the car before 5PM. This was not my regular dealer as I am away from home.

I believe that if this dealer knew anything about EV's, it would have taken less time. If there is a different Chevy dealer not too far away from you, maybe give them a try?

Yeah. At the mega dealer, in the city, that replaced our battery, I can't imagine anything being done in less than a day.
