Same seats as 2018 according to GM.

 

Well, they look like my 2017 LT seats, but with more foam stuffed in, which is what others have theorized to be the case. I have not heard that they are any wider, but I guess a tape measure might be able to tell. If true, 1" should make a world of difference for some folks.

 

Agreed - they more closely resemble our 2017 Premier seats AFTER the DIY mod of stuffing foam underneath. When I looked closely at the 1st photograph, the '19 seats seem to have more clearance / separation from the plastic side bolsters. In terms of the width - yeah, an inch would be a godsend.

 

I put Wet Okole seat covers on the front seats of my 2017 Bolt. They did improve seat comfort, and they protect the seat fabric.

 

Here are some pics of the seats in the 2019 LT Bolt. Do they look any different than the 2017 seats with the issues?

They look identical to my '18 Premier seats.

 

The seats definitely were changed for 2018. Here are part numbers for the components:

However, the only differences I can find are in the covers, not the pads or anything else.

 

My 2017 seats aren't upside down!

 

Must have backward butt because have found all Bolt EV seats from the three model years to be unremarkably comfortable.

 

The seats in the 2018 and 2019 premier models are the same to me.

 

As a follow up to this thread - one of my coworkers recently got a 2019 Premier. We sat in it today, and it truly is different both in appearance and in actual comfort. I can definitively say that the 2019 seats are more comfortable than the 2017 seats. The cushioning sits well above the bolsters, and it's just plain cushier. It feels similar to our 2017 seats post-modification.

 

Yeah, I think all Chevy did was the seat mod many have done here on their own. They just shoved more foam in.

 

Just went from a 2017 Premier to a 2019. The seats in the 2019 are definitely puffier.

Suspension is softer too, and there are some thin felt-like wheel-well liners that I don't recall on the 2107, which might be why there is a bit less tire noise.

 

There were no suspension changes between the Bolt model years.

 

Are you sure about that? I remember reading that Chevrolet did some tuning to the suspension to make it more compliant. The basic suspension design has not changed, but they could have changed the spring rates, or the shock valving, or even the bushing materials.
