Avoid this dealership Future Chevrolet of Sacramento if you can

I was having a good experience negotiating with a sales person to buy a new car from Future Chevrolet of Sacramento until his manager Joseph "ViTO" Accettura jumped in. Mr Accettura called me saying he couldn’t sell me a car at my asking price, sarcastically wishing me a safe trip to another dealer. Fine, no deal, not a big deal. A few hours later Future Chevrolet of Sacramento emailed me an ads with exactly the price for the car I wanted. So I called Mr Accettura to request buying that car at the advertised price. He initially lied to me that price is with all qualifying rebates for which I don’t qualify; without even asking what qualifications I might have. After I showed him the ads with a detailed price breakdown showing no qualification is needed, he offered another excuse that the ads was incorrect and he would have a letter of retraction coming. I see no retraction -- the ads is still up and running a day after at https://www.futurechevyofsac.com/promotions/new/index.htm... . In the whole process Mr Accettura was rude and condescending, as if it was my fault to contact him to follow up with his ads. I asked to speak to his manager, and he transferred me to a man named Slavik who claimed to be the Sales Manager, which is not listed at https://www.futurechevyofsac.com/dealership/staff.htm. Mr Slavik offered no solution other than sending me the retraction letter three days later, saying it is not a priority for him. Some people Future Chevrolet of Sacramento don't care about its potential customers, a fact that I hope the General Manager Tom Hood and/or Future Automotive Group would notice. #futurechevrolet #Chevrolet #ChevroletFleet #futurechevyfleet #falseadvertising #baitandswitch

lol are you surprised that among car salesmen that sleazy ones exist?? 🤣

Seriously though, this is absolutely no time to by a car. There's a huge inventory shortage. The lots are empty, salespeople are laid off, service departments are keeping the lights on, and what cars they DO have are being sold at whatever price desperate people will pay.

Take comfort. Mr. Accettura will be visited by karma eventually. Maybe big, maybe small. Nice people always are.
Not surprised, but still felt unpleasant when facing a real sleazy one. Just hope to help folks here avoid those low life.

Hmm..looking at the ad, it looks like they are applying the 2020 GM bonus cash to a 2021 model. 2020 gets 9k+4k=13k while 2021 gets 9k+3k=12k. Would have been a superb price for a 2021 if it was true!!

I will tell people in Southern California to stay away from Puente Hills Chevrolet. They have a "hearty" inventory of 2020s and 2021s because they are not interested in selling them. I think secretly they are testing the 8-year/100k mile battery warranty for vehicles that sit on a lot.🙄
Yeah, their ads are as sloppy as their sales manager. Note the VIN is for a 2020 model year car, not 2021, though the ads says 2021 model year.

I'm from Sac, too. Today walked away with a 2021 LT for $15.5K off of $38,245 Bolt for $22,750. About $26K with TTL. Bought it was Epic Chevy but they only have about 4 left, 3 LTs. Email at cvj6364@gmail.com and I'll hook you up with the sales guy, who owns a Bolt, too. :) These deals are off this weekend.
Thank you @boltsac I am looking for a Premier trim, hoping for a better seat than my previous LT.
