On the 2022 EUV Bolt, there are a lot of fingerprint smudges on the Infotainment screen from setup and playing around with the various options. What do you use to clean the screen?

Thanks,

Microfiber cloth. Hopefully you still have the factory protector on it. I would keep it on until you can find a glass one that will fit it. I did that on my 21 LT. Took the factory one off, cleaned the screen with Alcohol pad and immediately installed the tempered glass one. It detected presses much better than the factory one.

Thanks, I think the dealer took the plastic off the display while I was in financing. There was a piece of flimsy plastic wrap with a tab in the upper right corner that they removed.
However, it kinda looks like there is a piece of plastic covering it, I'm not sure. I don't want to start picking at it.

What tempered glass one did you end up purchasing?

Yep that is the one. they left mine on. I think most dealers do leave it on as I have seen quite a few pics and videos on the net with them still on.

This in the one I bought. However I thought the EUV had a larger display

It's a 10.2-inch-diagonal infotainment color touchscreen as well.

Thank you for that info, appreciate it!

Important thing about using Alcohol wipes. Make sure there is no debris on the screen that can scratch before using them. That is one of the reasons I use Microfiber first, (Lightly wipe) this will attract debris. The use the alcohol wipes to remove any sticky residue.

That is one of the main reasons I recommend a screen protector as soon as you can. then you can wipe the screen however you want and if it scratches you can just replace the protector for $10.

If you scratch the display you will have to live with it for the rest of your vehicle ownership.
