I believe I came across this company doing some equity crowdfunding a while back. Their most likely path if they survive as a company is probably being purchased by a bigger AI player for their patents.

What is equity crowdfunding? Everyone gets the same return on investment no matter what amount they invested? I'm in for $0.01, or maybe nothing but saying the right mantra, so long as it pays me the same as everyone else.

It’s like regular crowdfunding except the “perk” is not a copy of the product but shares of ownership in the company. If the company is sold to another company or goes public, then you get paid out for your shares. Some equity crowdfunding platforms also allow private share trading before either of those trigger events.
