I just did a measurement on my EUV. Imagine cutting up the seat down storage into 3 rectangular boxes.

Rear seat area: From rear of front row seat to the Second (ignores the leg space)
48" W x 27" D x 26" H = 33,696 cu in = 19.5 cu ft

Seat fold area: Where the 2nd row seat folds
38" W x 5" D x 26" H = 4,940 cu in = 2.85 cu ft

Rear: Equal to cargo compartment with seat up and false floor removed.
38" W x 24" D x 36" H = 32,832 cu in = 19.0 cu ft

Total 41.35 cu ft

Compared to official measurements of 16.3 cu ft cargo, 56.9 cu ft seat folded

Would someone with a Bolt EV provide result of the same?
I don't think I had tried lowering the rear seat back to try sleeping in the back of the EUV (given that it's been in the shop for so long over my short ownership period). Just tested it, much more roomy than the EV. Took a tape measure and looks like I have almost 56" to the front seat back. Much better than the EV's 49".

Although, it seems easier to just sleep across the rear seat, I just have to sleep sideways and fold my legs. The extra 3" legroom makes a big difference. I place a board to make a sturdy surface for a 12" wedge pillow. Quite a good compromise between comfort and convenience (I keep the cargo area intact).

Since I really appreciated the measurements @p7wang posted, here are some pictures with tape measure for reference:

Total approximately 56.5" deep (at edges, 58" at center)
Thanks for posting the dimensions. I’m considering using the EUV for car camping. Are if the front seats moved forward as far as possible, and are the upper back portion of the front seats angled forward as far as possible (extremely far forward)? I’m trying to figure out how large of an air or foam mattress the rear compartment with folded ears can accommodate. Thank you!

It would be tight. Not sure you could do it without removing the front passenger seat.

What's wrong with tent camping ? lol.

As a comparison, I did a measurement on the Model Y and Model 3 this morning.

Model Y:

Rear seat area: From rear of front row seat to the Second (ignores the leg space)
44-48" W x 32" D x 28-31" H = 42,688 cu in = 24.7 cu ft

Rear: Equal to cargo compartment
37-44" W x 40" D x 19-26" H = 36,000 cu in = 20.8 cu ft

Total 45.5 cu ft + frunk + under rear false floor

Model 3:

Rear seat area: From rear of front row seat to the Second (ignores the leg space)
42-48" W x 30" D x 23-26" H = 33,075 cu in = 19.1 cu ft

Rear: Equal to cargo compartment
38-44" W x 40" D x 20" H = 32,800 cu in = 19.0 cu ft

Total 38.1 cu ft + frunk + under rear false floor

So it looks like you can just put a twin mattress (72" x 36") in the back for car camping!
