Where'd you get those?

 

I have a set of Ampera wheel caps if you are interested, new and never installed

 

For the first time I saw a parking facility that went all out to display a big warning about the Bolt not being allowed to park in a mall just outside NYC, I parked anyways and went to do my shopping, this is getting ridiculous to be honest.

 

With GM replacing all the Bolt battery packs, will these parking restrictions be lifted or will they remain in place? I suppose parking lot owners/operators could keep them in place (just in case an updated Bolt should combust LOL).

 

I have a set of Ampera-e badges too - I got them to 3D scan them and re-print some black, blank ones (to go with the Honda FIT badges on the back)
The Bowtie on the front is going to be a little more annoying to re-badge, but Hondas have that really obnoxious nose for the H in the front, so it can be done.

I will be willing to let go of the Ampera - E side badges for $40 for the pair, brand new never installed.

 

I also purchased some Opel wheel caps. How are you guys getting the old ones out though? Do the wheels need to come off?

 

I had to take my wheels off. I tried using trim removal tools to avoid scratching the caps and wheels but ended up ruining the edge of the trim tools. I think if you have a hot glue gun you can remove them like pulling a dent out: glue a stick to the cap that you can pull. Alternatively, if you don't care about scratching, a screw driver might have better l luck. If you're really impatient and don't care about damage, you could drill a hole through the cap and stick something in to yank the cap out.

Edit: I wasn't swapping caps, I was checking axle nut torque.
