Windshield Wiper Insert Question- 2023 EUV?

I'm having trouble with windshield wiper "chatter", so would like to replace the OEM inserts only, not the whole wiper arm. I have tried RainX but it does not seem to help much. I have watched the video on how to change the inserts on a Bolt. The video shows the wiper arm removed to change the inserts. I plan on getting the Amazon Beigaon 28" silicone insert for $10. My question: Is it possible to remove the old insert and install the new one without taking the wiper arm off?

It's very easy to replace the inserts on my '22 EUV. I imagine yours would be pretty similar.

I'm going to do that annoying forum thing and not answer your question and provide you with a different answer of... I've been quite happy with Bosch ICONs for years now on my other vehicle(s) and over a year on the Bolt. The time and technical operation of replacing the inserts is not worth it to me compared to a $50 set of wiper blades that will last for 2-5yrs.

I just replaced my wiper inserts on my 2023 EUV as described above. Noise from the wiper seems to be gone with the Amazon Beigaon inserts. Other inserts may work as well. The process to remove and replace them are straight forward. If wiper arm does not come off easily, try tilting it and then pull. It worked for me. Thanks to all that posted.

JerryP’s photos in this thread are the very best help I’ve seen on how to replace the inserts. They match what’s on my early build 2023 EUV perfectly. Better than the YouTube video linked in one of these threads, as the snap mechanism doesn’t match. For now I’ve flipped the blades over, will shop for best quality inserts and replace.

Thank you all for your help. But, I decided to take the Bolt to the dealer. They replaced the blades under warranty and that did the trick. Wipers work great now. Only problem is now they replaced them with OEM blades that the insert cannot be removed. When I have to replace the blades the next time I will have to replace the whole blade again. The dealer said most of these new cars sit in the hot sun in parking lots for weeks at the factory or wherever and it ruins the blades. So keep that in mind when you leave your car in the sun.

That’s because they are likely just generic replacements and not OEM.

If they’re not like JerryPs photos, they aren’t OEM. With a skilled hand the blades can be replaced on OEM.

This was already my warranty replacement set. It didn’t last long. I think the quality of rubber GM is using is subpar these days.

My blades don't match Jerry's pictures. I have a (post-april) 2023 EUV. I've never replaced the blades and Im the original owner. Afaik, they are OEM.

Not only are the end caps different, but the rubber inserts don't match the Amazon Beigaon that lots of people have recommended.

Does anyone have any info on how to replace these inserts on the "late model" 2023 EUV?
