Tesla sales are crashing across the globe. They'll do anything to try and sell cars that say: "I support the destruction of the US government"
Musk is way ahead of you. He's transitioning Tesla to AI and got himself a gov't job. Perhaps the whole plan was to exit the low margin car business once FSD computer got to a good level to kickstart AI. KEK

I'm waiting for the Tesla board to get a spine and dump musk. When the highly inflated share price follows sales instead of the gas lighting, the other 85% of shareholders may insist on it. Who knows, maybe 5 years after he's gone they might have some decent cars to sell. Then musk can use AI to fly to mars and see if he can tweet back to Trump in the White House 🤣

Currently all EV's are in trouble. Not because of any person. It is because there are fanatics that would suggest that every person has to drive one. The EV's being built now are not equal to ICE for many reasons. I have two EV's and know the limits, I accept those limits. I tell people who ask that there are limits but future rewards.
Tesla is a company that is full of hard-working people trying to make a better choice for products. Tesla has many products not just EV's.
To discount Tesla is also insulting the hard-working folks that make and install and repair Super Chargers. You hurt them too.

In 5 years there will be NO trumpster in the white house!

Last thing we want is to have an EV company shut down production, even if it is Tesla. People can voice their opinion of Muskox with their wallets. That is the way consumers voice their opinion. However, all the other items Tesla makes, like SuperChargers, solar panels and storage batteries are helpful to the rest of us as well as the planet. Not to mention the salaries of all their production staff. 😉

Not sure I know what that has anything to do with it but pretty sure he has enough money to buy the other 80%.
He can have it if he wants as far as I'm concerned - and shareholders willing to sell for what he offers.

This thread is wandering again...into disrespectful, politically polarizing comments. Remember, when you take a side, you potentially disrespect nearly 50% of the people on the forum.

Let's get back to talking about the original topic please. If you really want to discuss politics, please do so in the basement section.

Thanks... (And yes, I am guilty on occasion as well...not criticizing, just trying to keep the discussion relevant to the original topic).

Was it a NACS to CCS1 adapter or a NACS to J1772 adapter? That's one common confusion.

Was it a V2 or a V3 Supercharger? That's another common confusion.

Did the Tesla app say it was open to non Tesla vehicles?
Good questions. I am getting one soon and GM recommends connecting Tesla to CCS adapter and then in car. To remove it says leave Tesla in the adapter and pull both out. And then separate Tesla from the adapter. Have you done this @JerryP and is it easy?

I'm probably not the best person to ask since I've only tested my A2Z adapter one time. However, the Tesla app says to "undock handle, attach adapter and plug in." That's what I did and it worked flawlessly. The A2Z has one release button that you press part way to release from the car and deeper to release from the handle. I just pressed all the way and separated everything at once.
