This is what I get when trying to activate the tesla supercharging

When you open your app click on your initials in the upper right, scroll down to public charging and it should allow you to sign up to use the tesla chargers.
If you have done that and get that message you posted, I have no clue what is wrong.
This is what I see since I have already signed up. But I got the same page with a button to sign up before I did.

Carrying Case for your Tesla adapter. I was able to get the GM adapter two days after the opening of Superchargers to GM EVs. I received it directly from GM (GMC Dealer) and it is actually a Tesla adapter.

If you receive the actual Tesla adapter and need a carrying case for it, I found a very nice "Caseling" brand case on Amazon that is a Perfect Fit. here is the link: Caseling Case for Tesla Adapter -- Perfect fit

Please leave a comment if you purchase this case and how well you like it.

It could be the wifi causing it, try accessing it on mobile data.

If that doesn't work, also try logging out of both the Chevy/GM websites and the app, then try signing back in.

On a Bolt using a NACS to CCS adapter ... is there any way to prevent adapter theft when you are away from your charging car? Seems like for $200 bucks a pop leaving your car charging would be a sure way to lose your adapter if it cannot be physically secured somehow. I don't think that an audible alarm would be much of a deterrent since car alarms go off all of time ... so are simply tuned out.

Good question, I also was wondering. My tesla destination charger adapter has a spot to insert a padlock. Prevents the adapter from walking but not an irate tesla owner from unplugging me. 😧
I would hope this has been addressed.
My NACS adapter was supposed to have arrived today but somehow is back in NJ.

It's pending, but I've never seen one so far off the actual charge before. All my other pendings have been for the charged amount, unless it was one of those "test charges" some companies do when setting up the account, and those were always just a few cents.
The same thing happens when you buy gasoline with a card at the pump. The pump asks for permission to charge $100 or $150 on your card, gets it, then allows the pump to start. At the end of the transaction you've actually dispensed say, $80, hang up the nozzle, and then the pump completes the transaction for $80. At your bank $80 is either added to your credit bill or deducted from your checking/savings account, depending, and the extra $20 being held 'just in case' is released.

On debit cards this release can take a couple days and you don't have the use of those funds during that period which is why when I buy fuel -- or tender a card on checking in at a hotel -- use a credit card.

The Tesla Supercharger station in the Sacramento Area that I may want to use someday has a sign above each charger saying " Tesla Cars Only ". The Tesla app and Plugshare lists this station has open to non Tesla cars with the Adapter. Should I just ignore the signs?

Yes. Those signs predate the change of opening to other vehicles. Tesla opened them to NACS, so it's allowed.

When DC Fast Charging the connector is locked into the port so it cannot be removed without causing damage to either the port or the connector, this is mainly for safety reasons, you don’t want to disconnect it while pulling high amps, you could get killed. But they could end the charge session first by pressing the button on the tesla connector to be able to remove it. In that case you should get a notification that charging was interrupted.
When charging on AC it is not locked in and can be unplugged any time.

I'm conflicted about the adapters. On the one hand, the A2Z adapter sounds better. On the other hand, I have a whole pile of Rewards points that would make the official adapter cheaper. And on the gripping hand, the official adapter is backordered.

Maybe I will just wait and see. I don't have any long trips planned in the future, and I've barely touched my EVGo $500 credit.

BTW I tried applying the free shipping discount code in the Chevy shopping cart (NACSSHIP) but it doesn't seem to work for me. (There are other discount codes but apparently they don't apply).
I tried NACSSHIP on desktop browser, no go. From the myChevy app, it sends you to mobile browser and it works there. Go figure.

While waiting on my backordered Lectron adapter from GM, yesterday I decided to see if the dealership would honor my canceled order for a $27 (they must have tacked on $2) adapter in June. I had ordered it from a GMC outlet since the part number had been taken down from the Chevrolet outlet next door. It's the same owner.

Armed with printed copies of my order and subsequent cancelation along with a statement I found on Reddit saying the price would be honored, I went to their parts department. He's going to look into it and took my phone number. However, he also said there may have been a time limit on honoring the $25 price, and/or maybe I'll just be ghosted. I'm not holding my breath. Anyone have better luck?

... I don’t know about the third-party adapters. My understanding is they will probably work, but it will void the warranty on the battery. ....
If an adapter was made with faulty Sockets and their Pin Grip on the car's port and you get a melting plastic situation, or worse,,, the PORT is not warranted. The battery couldn't care less.
And isn't there a situation where UL certification is still in process?

.... You can bet the house that if just ONE person's car had their batteries fried because of a defective adapter, we're talking a major lawsuit. ....
Guys, relax. The battery is 5 feet away from the adapter ,,, that might have loose sockets which create heat at the port.
