Good price and great quality, but does not work with the Bolt's departure or TOU settings. Buy only if you want to charge immediately when you plug in. There are othe EVSE's that have a NEMA 6-50 plug, but they may not be that cheap.

The Versicharger has its own start delay control- 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. I've often used it and it has always worked. You don't have to charge immediately, but you do have to do some math to predict when it will take advantage of reduced rates or be fully charged when you're ready to leave.

This charger is 399 at Costco. Their returns/warranty are probably worth the price difference for anyone who already has a Costco membership. I'm kinda waiting for them to put it on sale.
Off topic/marginally related: Anyone think the Blink charger on Amazon is a good deal? 100 Blink credit, and if you apply the coupon that is on the page for 30% off 399 it comes to 280. That one is a little slower but looks like a decent deal. I'm all ears if someone thinks there is a better deal for a decent level 2 going. .

Blink (Find a Blink Charging location : EV Charging Stations) has crazy expensive public rates and doesn't keep their equipment working that well.

For the longest time, for DC FCing, they were CHAdeMO only, so that doesn't do a Bolt any good. If you want to DC FC on Blink, make sure they have SAE Combo/CCS near you.

I've never hard of DC Fast EV Charging Stations : Blink Charging (rebadged Tritium unit) being deployed anywhere. Blink DC Quick Charger with CHAdeMO Connector is what they had deployed since the early days and is CHAdeMO only.

You could L2 charge on them but obviously, it's not fast nor is it cheap.

I have a POS Versicharge VC30 sitting on my garage floor because it failed: the power available light flashes green, but NOTHING else works (no halo light, no fault light). The car sees that it is plugged in, but displays "unable to charge" (and car charges on other EVSE). Siemens manual does not even list the flashing power available light in the troubleshooting, and Siemens support was WORSE: they asked for photos of the installation, the lights, the J1772 plug, the car's socket, and the dash display. Then they asked for make, year and model of vehicle, and then... radio silence. I complained a week later to their CEO, and the response I finally received was that it was out of warranty. No diagnosis, no parts, no repairs, just buh-bye. Siemens is a huge company, sometimes referred to as the European General Electric, as they make power systems like windmills, as well as medical equipment like MRIs and CT scanners. SHOCKING that there is no customer service whatsoever
