I was thinking about getting these. Did you confirm that they are 17 lbs? I wasn't sure if that was an error manufacturer specs or not.

Also, what size is the tire? I ask because I might go with 225 width.
Ha, answered my own question. In one of your pics I can see that your Pirelli's are 215/50.

The Crossclimate2 has two options that should fit at 225. The 225/50 XL is a little bigger in diameter and the 225/45 is smaller diameter but also 1 lb lighter.

We are running 225/50/R17 Michelin CrossClimate+ that we had on our Mini Countryman that we sold after getting the Bolt, we bought them just before we both started working from home. The left (driver) front tire rubs a little a full lock, but hasn't been an issue yet. We live in Salt Lake City, UT and wanted tires that better handled all of our weather conditions and were snowflake rated for trips up the canyons.

We were hoping to find a lighter set of wheels, but we also wanted something that looked OEM (wish GM did a sport package on the Bolt) and couldnt find Cruze Eco wheels for a good price and didnt really have time to get the Eco's powdercoated black with selling the Mini. Still have to add center caps, trying to figure out which would look best.
That’s a great looking setup, I just snatched a brand new set of the Silver color version of this wheels and a set of 225/50 r17 Nokians Hakkapeliittas , I’m hoping not to get rubbing issues, we shall see.

Just came back from the tire shop which installed the Fast Wheels Jet in 15 x 6 (15 lbs.) with Kumho TA11 in 205/65R15 (20 lbs.) - so should be 35 lbs. instead of 46 lbs. for the 23 + 23 stock combination - so 11 lbs. saved per corner!

Received the Cruze Eco garde "A" wheels, $100 each. I'd say A- or B+ but there straight. I'll get them refurbished shortly and get the tires mounted.

They are certainly worth refurbishing. Back when I bought my Eco in 2011, a replacement wheel from Chevrolet was about $400/ea. Fortunately I never needed one, but checked out of curiosity. Forged aluminum wheels are in a different class than the typical pressure cast, and especially gravity cast wheels.

Here's mine:
  • RAYS Gram Lights 18x7.5 offset (+54-20)mm ~19 lb
  • 5 x 114.3 to 5 x 105 lug adapter~2 lb
  • Falken Azenis RT615k 225/40-18 (~24 lb)
This setup is super flush, down to the micro mm
Those wheels and tires look gorgeous. On the performance level though you could have something better. Your setup is 45 lb per wheel, 4.5 lb more than mine for each wheel.

My setup
  • RTX FF10 18x8 offset 42~18.74 lb
  • no lug adapter needed (save 2 lb)
  • Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 235/40-18 ~21.7 lb
40.44 lb per wheel

And I have wider tires (which means more traction on dry) and they fit without any issue. Don't see how your tires that are narrower could be super flush.
