Those wheels and tires look gorgeous. On the performance level though you could have something better. Your setup is 45 lb per wheel, 4.5 lb more than mine for each wheel.

My setup
  • RTX FF10 18x8 offset 42~18.74 lb
  • no lug adapter needed (save 2 lb)
  • Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 235/40-18 ~21.7 lb
40.44 lb per wheel

And I have wider tires (which means more traction on dry) and they fit without any issue. Don't see how your tires that are narrower could be super flush.
I don't see 5x105 bolt pattern on their site. Where did you buy yours?

RAYS 2.0 ~ lighter setup:

(Same tires, same wheel weight but instead of using wheel adapters, I went with Re-Drilling this time. Shaved 2 lb off ea. wheel from previous set up and the difference is very noticeable. Much quicker acceleration and feels lighter in turns.)

Very happy with the 2.0 upgrade over previous setup.
  • RAYS Gram Lights MMX 18x7.5 45mm offset ~19 lb
  • Re-Drilled 5 x 114.3 to 5 x 105
  • Falken Azenis RT615k 225/40-18
  • RAYS motorsport lug nuts

Just because I couldn't find an answer

Fyi 215/55/17 Tires will fit on a bolt EV.

Slight rub on the back inner finder liner at full lock. Likely would not be an issue on regular tires, my snow tires have an aggressive tread.

Side note Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 Winter tires are pretty good, they are not noisy at all in fact the noise it does make is pretty much in sync with the inverter/motor electrical noise. I've tried many snow tires and I keep coming back to Hakkapeliitta's. They seem to have the best ratio of cost, snow performance, and noise/road manner's

1. I'm only saying this because you're not the first person to mention this but people realize the bigger the rim the smaller the tire so that the overall diameter stays the same.

2. This is a summer only set, I' run the OEM ones with 215/55/17 for winter.
No, my point was very open rims lime that tend to pack snow and unbalance the rims, making winter driving aggravating. You won’t have that issue. :)

One big problem with this thread is how many people do you really think will put aftermarket wheels on the Bolt? The way I see it, most Bolts will be rolling on stock wheels. But it's Tesla rival will be more likely to get the customization crowd.
And because the Tesla stock wheels look awful. So awful they they belong on a test mule.
